We have seen no issues during the time we have used Adobe Acrobat Pro and now have expired the Adobe PDF Extra 2025 License from Adobe. We are using this as a backup at the moment, but have chosen to extend the subscription for Adobe and purchase the Adobe PDF Extra 2025 License. This may allow us another 12 months or so to use our copies (if anything should issue). Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025 license — 10076556 May 1, 2025 – We have purchased Adobe Acrobat 17, Acrobat Pro 17, and Acrobat Professional 2017, respectively, on December 18, 2016, and used them for one year. We have seen no issues during the time we have used Adobe Acrobat Pro. However, we have become aware that Adobe has recently introduced a new product, Adobe PDF Essentials 2017, which is essentially the same product as Adobe Acrobat PDF Essentials 2016, except that it runs under Windows. There are no additional benefits that this new product provides (or which may be useful to a small set of users). We cannot predict what problems that may have caused the change from the previous product, so we feel that it is necessary to use Acrobat Pro 2025 for the foreseeable future. We have also decided to extend or purchase our Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025 license in the future, even though that license expires this June. This is all just my personal opinion, and it is not that I am trying to say that I am right or wrong, just sharing my personal experience, so that you can make your own decisions (even if you disagree with my take on the matter). I am still going to use Adobe Acrobat Pro 2025 for the immediate future.
